WINTER ARTS SHOWCASE

The Winter Arts Showcase is a “no frills” and free opportunity for students in the Metro Arts Tacoma’s performing arts programs to demonstrate what they have been learning and working toward during the fall sessions. It’s also a great time to allow children the chance to perform and see how well they like it, in particular as preparation for the large-scale production Metro Arts puts on each spring. Admission is free. Again, the performance is considered “no frills”, which means students are not required to purchase costumes or props. The event takes place Dec. 14, 6:15-7:30 p.m. at Jason lee Middle School (602 N. Sprague Ave., Tacoma). Info: www.metroparkstacoma.org/metro-arts-performer-info.
