“Use Your Voice!” Tacoma Refugee Choir

Saturday, Nov. 3 – Come to University of Puget Sound’s Schneebeck Concert Hall (1500 N. Warner St., Tacoma) to join the Tacoma Refugee Choir for a free, family friendly concert. The choir features guest artists including Tacoma Mayor Victoria Woodards, Grammy-nominated hip hop artist QDot, Christina Brewer and Ballet Folklorico. This high-energy and interactive event will engage the audience in considering how they can use their voice to make a difference. Songs will include “Lean on Me,” “Huddled Masses,” “Jambo Bwana,” “Let Them Stay” and choir favorite “Everyone Has a Song” with a live band led by musicians including Terry O’Hara, Tony Gomez, Obe Quarless, Anand Landon, and Princess Guinto. This event is all ages and free but seating is limited and on a first come basis.
