Head to Uncle Sam’s Bar and Grill (16003 Pacific Ave. in Spanaway) Jan. 14 for a benefit show for Jerry Miller, featuring none other than the Jerry Miller Band. Guitar wizard Randy Hansen will also play a set, following which there will be a mega jam of some of the area’s greatest guitarists and musicians. Hansen is an American guitarist, songwriter, artist, and occasional actor who is best known for his work contributing to the sound track of “Apocalypse Now,” the 1980 Academy Award winner for Best Sound.
