Washington’s Most Wanted – Q13 Fox
Pierce County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist has charged a suspect in a car prowl near the Tacoma Dome during the Bruno Mars concert on July 24. Travis Henderson is accused of stealing a backpack with a 40 caliber pistol, 9mm pistol, four rifle magazines, cologne and a rifle stand. Henderson is being held on $750,000 bail for two counts of theft of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm in the second degree, trafficking of stolen property in the first degree, theft in the third degree and vehicle prowling in the second degree.
“Henderson is a convicted felon who has spent time in prison for property crime and identity theft. He was arrested as he met his DOC officer in Lakewood,” said Officer Loretta Cool with Tacoma Police.
The case is being handled by the High Priority Offender Unit for the Pierce County Prosecutor’s Office. “Citizens made the difference in this case,” said Lindquist. “Washington’s Most Wanted aired surveillance video, viewers put a name to the face and the suspect was identified, arrested and charged. Good teamwork to keep our community safe.”
Detectives learned Henderson had sold the two weapons for $500. They contacted the buyer who brought the handguns to Tacoma Police headquarters. Henderson is “Washington’s Most Wanted” capture #912 thanks to tips from our viewers.
