This August Wilson play is directed by Josh Wallace. The drama portrays Troy Maxson, a former star of the Negro baseball league who works as a garbage man. He fights to keep his bitterness from ruining his relationships with his wife and son, who now wants his own chance to play ball.  Contains mild adult content.

This is Lakewood Playhouse’s tenth annual live radio show. The theater will celebrate the first decade of its annual live radio show with something truly special: the recreation of a 1940s radio show, “The Vault of Radio Horror,” the greatest scares from the last nine years.

The show features live special effects with episodes from such iconic radio shows as “Lights Out,” “The Inner Sanctum” and many more surprises.

Tickets $25. Admission includes complimentary hor d’oeuvres and one glass of wine or apple cider.
