On Saturday, March 24, Wilson High School’s Scintillation Show Choir will perform their medley of current pop hits at the 29th annual Show Choir Dinner and Auction fundraiser. This will be the only chance for the public to see a preview of the choir’s upcoming performance at Disneyland’s Magic Music Days experience, and to help raise the money needed for the trip in May.
The Scintillation Show Choir consists of 20 singers/dancers and a rhythm section. The choir will be traveling May 18-21 for two performances at Disneyland and the Heritage Show Choir Festival, and to participate in workshops from Disney choreographers. Past performances by the choir at Disneyland have drawn huge crowds, receiving great praise from the staff and entertainers within the park. Past trophies have been won as: Best in Performance, Best Vocals, and Best Program. During their trip, the choir will also represent their school and community at the Heritage Show Choir Festival in Anaheim.
The 29th annual Show Choir Dinner and Auction will be held on Saturday, March 24 at the Tacoma Community College Gym (Building 20) located at: 6501 S. 19th St. Doors open at 5 p.m.
