The Western Washington 2018 Winter Cluster of 3 Separate Dog Shows will be held Saturday, Sunday, and Monday January 13-15 at the Washington State Fairgrounds in Puyallup, WA.
The Western Washington Cluster comprised of the Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers show on Saturday, the Gig Harbor Kennel Club show on Sunday, and the Tacoma Kennel Club show on Monday, is holding their three days of dog shows at the Washington State Fair Events Center at 110 9th Ave. SW, Puyallup, WA. In addition, 6 different Breed clubs will be holding their own specialty events starting on Friday 12 January.
There will be an average of over 2200 dogs each day representing over 160+ different breeds recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) that will converge to compete in the following events on each of the three days.
Competition events include AKC All Breed Conformation, Obedience trials, Junior Showmanship and Rally. Back by popular demand is the Pee Wee Handler competition on Saturday during the noon break and sure to please puppy-loving spectators, is the AKC Sanctioned Four and Under Six Months PUPPY Competition scheduled on Sunday. Saturday is Hat Day with a $50 prize awarded for the “Best Hat in Show”.
Events and details of judging schedules, by breed, are available in the Official Show Catalogue available on site. In addition, Club members on the grounds will be available to help answer questions spectators may have regarding judging times and ring locations.
The shows are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Judging starts at 8:30 a.m. each day.
