Experience a little bit of Bethlehem when you stroll through this free exhibit featuring over 900 Christmas crèches and nativities on display at the tenth annual Tacoma Festival of the Nativity.
The exhibit celebrates the beauty and diversity of the Christmas Crèche around the world. The nativities on display have been loaned to the exhibit from collectors in the Tacoma, University Place, Fircrest, Lakewood, Steilacoom, Joint Base Lewis McCord, and Dupont communities. This community exhibit is the largest nativity display in the Pacific Northwest.
A centerpiece of the event is a continual “living nativity”. Live Christmas vocal and instrumental music will be performed throughout the Festival. There are family activities, such as a “Life of Christ” art room, a free family photo booth (with biblical costumes), and more.
The public is welcome and the event is indoors and wheelchair accessible. Free parking is available.
Visit our website at www.tacomanativity.org to learn how you can participate and exhibit your own treasured nativity in the festival.
Non-perishable food donations for Emergency Food Network are also being collected at the event.
