Tacoma Art Bank Gallery Opening for Marie Friddle

Marie Friddle has done 13 extraordinary dioramas of “LittleLodgings” made from Altoid Boxes. She takes the box as the basis for all constructions, then goes to town making beautiful spaces complete with all the accoutrements of the room. Tiny Tiny Tiny hair brushes, Little fishing pole made from a tooth pick and hundreds of other miniature furnishings all fitting in an Altoid box.
She will be there at the opening reception to answer any questions. All of her work is hand cut from paper.
