Sound RIDER! Sasquatch GPS Dual Sport GPS Adventure Tour
Off-road riding, fascinating areas, maybe a sighting?
(Seattle, WA – December 2017)—The Sasquatch Dual Sport Tour started its life in 2006 as a one-day poker run. Now in its 13th year, this five-day off-road trip is still thrilling adventure riders. Each year, the locale changes: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, British Columbia, coast, mountains, desert.
For 2018, Sasquatch riders will explore the Oregon Cascades and Central Oregon like never before, enjoying stunning views and cool locations as the route progresses each day. Optional challenge sections offer a more difficult ride while the basic track is an easier option.
Sasquatch creates an adventure for all riders who want to meet others, experience something they wouldn’t do on their own, and enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Attendees choose the type of experience they prefer: campground, motel/hotel, resort; riding at their own pace; avoiding large riding groups. Meal options are noted in the tour book; riders can stop at their leisure. Luggage is placed in a support vehicle so riders ride light. Their GPS keeps them on the route.
Each morning, riders meet to get updated route information, and review gas and lunch options. Each evening, they can choose to meet at a designated ‘truth and lies’ location to talk about their day over dinner.

Sound RIDER!, a monthly online magazine founded by publisher Tom Mehren, began publishing in 1999, featuring editorial about people, places, and events associated with motorcycling in the Pacific Northwest. In 2001, the magazine added an online store selling items not available at local dealers. Later that year, Sound RIDER! began promoting events, then in 2002 began creating and producing events like 3 Pass Blast, Sportbike Northwest (now Rally in the Gorge), Road Trip, and Sasquatch Dual Sport Tour. With the goal of getting riders to ride more, safely, and comfortably, Sound RIDER! speaks to pragmatic riders who love to ride.
