CRAZYWISE Free Film Screening and Community Conversation

October 28 @ 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Free

Crazy… or wise? The traditional wisdom of indigenous cultures often contradicts modern views about a mental health crisis. Is it a “calling” to grow or just a “broken brain”? The documentary CRAZYWISE explores what can be learned from people around the world who have turned their psychological crisis into a positive transformative experience.

St. Leo Parish Social Justice Commission invites you to a free film screening and community conversation around the documentary film, CRAZYWISE, on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 3:00 p.m. in the Fr. William Bichsel SJ Hall (aka “The Bix”), located behind St. Leo Church, 710 South 13th St., Tacoma 98405. A panel discussion and community conversation will follow the screening.

Presented by St. Leo Social Justice Commission in partnership with Catholic Community Services and The Healing Field.
