34 new Pierce County COVID-19 cases


Today, the Tacoma-Pierce County Department of Health confirmed 34 new cases in Pierce County and learned that one previously reported case was a duplicate. The county total is 1,382 cases.

The department is reporting the two new deaths below. The Pierce County total is 51 deaths.

  • Central Pierce County woman in her 80s with underlying health conditions.
  • Tacoma man in his 70s with underlying health conditions.

The Tacoma-Pierce County Department of Health continues to work with the state Department of Health to report test result numbers, and will report reliable data once it is available.
