Mayor Victoria Woodards will host the 2018 State of the City Address on April 11, at 6 p.m. in the Lincoln High School Auditorium (701 S. 37th St. in Tacoma). During the free community event at her high school alma mater, Mayor Woodards will speak on the theme “Our Tacoma: Our City, Our Success” while reflecting on her first 100 days in office.
Registered event attendees are asked to bring proof of their Eventbrite registration and a valid photo ID, and allow ample time for travel and parking (in one of the designated free spots highlighted in green on this map) or the use of public transportation.
Registered event attendees are asked to arrive between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. for guaranteed seating. After 5:45 p.m., unclaimed seats may be released to waitlisted individuals. Because the event will be streamed and broadcast live, it will begin promptly at 6 p.m.
The event can be viewed live from anywhere on a device with internet access at cityoftacoma.org/stateofthecity and on TV Tacoma, which is carried on both the Click! and Comcast Cable systems.
