Tacoma has announced several event-related road closures that will occur around the city through Sept. 23.
Those closures include:
- On Saturday, Sept. 15, the rescheduled Hilltop Urban Gardens Black Party block party event will close South 23rd Street from South Sheridan Avenue to South M Street from 2 – 9 p.m.
- On Saturday, Sept. 22, the North End Neighborhood Council’s Discover Cushman event will close North 19th Street from North Adams to North Washington streets, and on North Adams Street from North 19th to North 21st streets from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- On Saturday, Sept. 22, the South Sound Heart and Stroke Walk event will close Clay Huntington Way from South 19th Street to the Cheney Stadium parking lot, and the eastbound lane on South 19th Street from South Mullen to South Tyler streets and the southbound lane on South Tyler Street from South 19th Street to the Scott Pierson Trail entrance from 7 a.m. to noon.
