Suspect in murder case turns himself into police


At  7 p.m. on Dec. 19, Daniel Perris-Karlton III turned himself into the Pierce County Jail.

The Tacoma Police Department has released a call for the public’s assistance with locating him in connection a homicide that occurred on Jan. 17.

The homicide took place at approximately around 2:30 a.m. at 614 S Steele St. in Tacoma. A female called to report that someone had broken into her home and shot her boyfriend. Tacoma Police responded to the scene and confirmed a 24-year-old male resident of the home had been shot.  He was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Detectives have established probable cause for the arrest of Perris-Karlton in this homicide.
