The City of Tacoma is holding community meetings regarding rail crossings in the Dome District, Old Town and the West End. This is the first of two rounds of meetings being held to discuss various topics including safety, traffic operations, noise, and pedestrian/bicycle mobility.

City staff will incorporate community feedback to develop a framework and ranking process that can be used to evaluate potential crossing improvements at these sites. The dates and locations available for community members to provide input include:

  • 4 – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Titlow Lodge, 8425 6th Ave.
