Man stabbed to death in Tacoma’s Eastside


At around 11:15 p.m. on Dec. 13, Tacoma Police responded to a call in the 100 block of E. 26th St.  A citizen had reported a man had been stabbed.

The victim was a 44-year-old male. Medical aid was rendered and the male was transported to St. Joseph’s hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A possible suspect had been seen leaving the scene on foot. The person was described as wearing dark clothing. The area was contained, a search was conducted and the person was not located.

Detectives were called to investigate. Forensics processed the scene.  The Medical Examiner will release the identity of the victim when it is appropriate. At this time there is no further information available.

The Tacoma Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding this crime to call 911.
