Let’s talk about the library’s future

Tacoma Public Library is hosting conversations with people from around the community through meetings throughout the summer.
Each one is a chance for library officials to better understand people’s aspirations for the community, the concerns they have and what people believe might make a difference in strengthening the community. Officials will take what they learn from these conversations and use it to help make them work in the community more effective. They can’t promise the conversation will lead to a new program or policy. But they pledge to get back to the community with what they learned.
