Detectives seek help in nabbing Girl Scout cookie attempted robbers


Tacoma Police detectives need the public’s help identifying the suspects responsible for an
attempted robbery.

At 6:22 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, the pictured suspects approached a woman and her young daughter who were selling Girl Scout cookies outside the Fred Meyer store located in the 7200 block of Pacific Ave. S. in Tacoma.

One of the suspects asked the victims if they had change for a $100 bill, then the suspect lifted his sweatshirt and displayed what appeared to be a handgun concealed in his waistband. The mother told the suspects that they did not have any money, and the suspects fled the area on foot.

The suspects appear to be white men in their late teens or early 20’s, both were approximately 5’6” tall and had slender builds. During the robbery, they were both were wearing dark-colored hooded jackets or sweatshirts.
