The burn ban for greater Pierce County has been lifted. There are no air quality burn bans currently in effect in the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency jurisdiction.
Winds will be picking up this afternoon and pollution levels have returned to MODERATE, so the agency is lifting the burn ban. Looking ahead, it expects clouds and rain, and GOOD air quality for the rest of the week and into the weekend.
