UWT is now selling tickets for its third event, which is sure to be a huge success. Tickets are only $5. Sponsored by the Black Student Union at the University of Washington, “It’s All About You” is UWT’s first musical. It is the theatrical version of the middle and high school conflicts and resolutions encountered by girls. The show features original music. Bring a friend and receive a free gift at the door. Also, look forward to a Mother’s Day silent auction and raffle prizes. Tickets: $5

“Into the Woods”

UPS Opera Theater performs Stephen Sondheim’s “Into the Woods.” Based on the book by James Lapine, the musical intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm and Charles Perrault fairy tales, exploring the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests. The main characters are taken from “Little Red Riding Hood,” “Jack and the Beanstalk,” “Rapunzel” and “Cinderella” as well as several others. Dawn Padula is the director/producer and Jeff Caldwell is the musical director of this UPS performance. Tickets $7 for Puget Sound students: $10 for seniors/military/students/Puget Sound faculty and staff; $15 general admission.

• April 13-14: “Rabbit Hole” by David Lindsay-Abaire, directed by Mariah Prinster
• April 20-21: “The Trestle At Pope Lick Creek” by Naomi Wallace, directed by Mattea Prison
Performance times: 7:30 p.m. on Fridays; 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
