We’re only about a week away from Saint Patrick’s Day (Saturday, March 17) and Tacoma’s night spots are getting ready to deck everything out in shamrocks and all things green in honor of the patron saint of the Emerald Isle from whence came so many of our ancestors. Here is a list of some of the musical delights that you might like to enjoy while doing some wearin’ o’ the green.
St. Patrick’s Day

Join us for two days of music and celebration under the big top tent at Doyle’s Public House in downtown Tacoma. Like any good festival, we feature a savory stew of raucous Irish flavor, plenty of awesome local bands, peppered with some nationally touring gunslingers, some serious Seattle mercenaries, and a TV personality or two.
Confirmed 2018 artists: The Rusty Cleavers, The Cottonwood Cutups, Rippin Chicken, Power Laces, Decent at Best, Ethan Tucker, The Brothers Gow, Slainté, The Wages of Sin, Bes, Champagne Sunday.
O’Malley’s Irish Pub

O’Malley’s Irish Pub presents the biggest and best St. Patrick’s Day party on 6th Avenue. Start off the day right with a pint of Guinness and our made in-house corned beef hash. They open at 9 a.m. on March 17. They will be serving up an excellent selection of Irish whiskeys, cocktails and draft beers. There will be classic Irish dishes like corned beef and cabbage, bangers and mash, shepherd’s pie, and the popular O’Malley’s burger. O’Malley’s will be selling festive T-shirts and hats to raise money for charity, so be sure to check it out and get some green on so you don’t get pinched! There will be a great musical lineup this year including some jazzy piano, rock, Celtic rock and authentic Irish pipes and drums.

As the clouds begin to part and the dream of spring becomes a reality, green seems to be creeping out everywhere you look. Come follow us to the end of the rainbow and enter a Celtic-inspired land where whimsical creatures, boundless providence, and good fortune abide at Lucky 2018. With three stages to dance gleefully to a wide range of musical genres, people of all musical tastes will be catered to while exploring this mystical world.
The full lineup includes artists like Carnage, JAUZ, Flux Pavilion and Getter.
