On the lookout for some local paranormal activity? Come learn about Tacoma’s haunted history with Tacoma Ghost Tours, the city’s longest running ghost tour company. Choose between two locations — downtown Tacoma and Stadium District — for a fascinating and informative walking tour that features tales about hexes, mummies, UFOs and more. Stories are unearthed and told by a history-loving father-son duo, who have extensively researched Tacoma’s rich history to find their material. Having spent years passionately amassing more than 50 ghost stories, Charlie and Andrew Hansen are ready to take you on a spooky adventure that you won’t soon forget.

Tickets: $12 for 60-minute Stadium District Tour; $16 for 90-minute downtown Tacoma tour.

At 8 p.m. on Oct. 29, you are invited to grab your smart phone, tablet or ghost hunting device and come down to Brandy’s Attic (755 Broadway St.) to help Tacoma Ghost Tours investigate a place that has been home to numerous unexplained experiences and paranormal/psychic investigations. This is a bring-your-own-ghost-hunting-device event. The organizers want you to not only participate, but walk away with something.

Price: $7 (Groupon and other discount tickets are not accepted or available for this event). Tickets can be purchased online or at the door but space is limited. To buy online or for more information head to TacomaGhostTours.com, click on the “Info. & Tickets” link, then click on the “Schedule-On-Line” link. After that you just scroll down until you see “Public Ghost Hunt.”
