McMenamins presents ‘Friendsgiving’ with Nightnoxx

Your favorite local collaborative dance music group is back at it again. “Friendsgiving” with Nightnoxx will electrify McMenamins with heavy bass, lasers, go-go dancers and the hottest back-to-back line-ups in the south end.

“The reason we named the show ‘Friendsgiving’ is so we can give back to the community this Thanksgiving with the help from our friends – you!” said Nightnoxx team member Nolan Burslie.

Nightnoxx and McMenamins are teaming up to help provide food for the Tacoma Rescue Mission on Thanksgiving Day. Just bring $8 for your entry or five of these items: canned foods, vegetables, fruit, meat, fish, beans, soup, chili, pasta (whole grain), pasta sauce, stuffing, cream of mushroom soup, shelf-stable milk, rice (brown), oatmeal, dry cereal, protein bars, pancake mix, pancake syrup, jam, jelly and peanut butter.

As an added bonus: The guys have decided to give $5 from every Nightnoxx T-shirt sold to the Tacoma Animal Shelter, “because we love the kitties!” said Burslie.

Don’t wait until the last minute to get tickets. This event, 21 and over only, is expected to sell out again.

The Nov. 27 show runs from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at McMenamins Elks Temple’s Spanish Ballroom, 565 Broadway, Tacoma.
