The annual Fieldhouse Flea Market is part antiques show, part arts and crafts fair and part rummage sale. It is scheduled for Saturday, March 17 and begins bright and early at 8 a.m.
Tickets are available on the day of the event at the door. The price is $5 to enter at 9:30 a.m. or $10 to gain early access at 8 a.m. You’ll get a hand-stamp that allows you to come and go all day. Best part? Your admission price goes directly to student scholarships.
Celebrating its 50th year, the Fieldhouse Flea Market is the University of Puget Sound Women’s League’s annual fundraiser. This popular community event has been held since 1968 and has raised more than a million dollars for student scholarships.
UPS Women’s League has booths of its own – boutique, books, furniture, and Grandma’s Attic – that embody the Flea Market spirit with treasures and bargains galore. These areas, along with the snack bar and raffle booth, are staffed by Women’s League volunteers and 100 percent of the proceeds go to student scholarships.
In addition to Women’s League booths, spaces are rented to more than 60 vendors, who offer a variety of items, including antiques, “junktique,” re-purposed, vintage jewelry, household items, artisan crafts, gourmet treats, and more. For information, visit www.facebook.com/events/1896825803964791.
