Do you love to sing? Do you know of somebody who loves to sing? Have you ever wanted to be in an Opera? Here’s your chance. Tacoma Opera is looking for new chorus members for its 2017-18 50th anniversary season. The season consists of three great chorus operas with wonderful music: Mozart’s “The Marriage of Figaro,” Bizet’s “Carmen” and Lehar’s “The Merry Widow.”

Auditions for the Opera Chorus will be held on Sept.16 at the Old Tacoma Armory, So. 9th St. and S. Yakima Ave. in Tacoma.

The opera company is looking for all voice types, but particularly needs altos and mezzo sopranos. Basses, baritones and tenors will also be considered.
